To watch 3D media on this TV you will need to purchase a pair of Samsung’s active LCD shutter glasses. The glasses are used to view images in three dimensions using their 3D televisions.
The image from the TV is split into two, shot from slightly different angles. The glasses separate the images into left and right eye, and the brain combines them to give an illusion of depth.
The glasses work by being synchronised via an infra-red signal, to the frame-rate of the 3D material from the TV.
