Also, due to the LED panel, it’s extremely thin, but still takes up a lot of space. Make sure you have plenty of room where you plan to place the TV, and make sure you place it on a very solid surface, because it weighs more than 20Kgs!
The UE55C7000 incorporates a lot of technology and you wouldn’t expect so many features to be available in a TV that is less than 3cm thick! At 55 inches, this is certainly a large TV, so you must make sure you watch it from the recommended distance. The 1080p resolution is the highest you can get at this moment, and it is perfect for watching anything from Blu-rays to DVDs. The same premium Luxia panel is used which offers amazing contrast rates and life-like colors, without sacrificing anything in the process. The 2D to 3D conversion service is exclusive to Samsung TVs, so you don’t have a lot of options if you want to watch your DVD collection in 3D. The Freeview HD tuner allows you to watch a number of HD channels, with more on the way, as well as regular SD channels.
With SRS Theater Sound, the UE55C7000 has excellent sound quality, but if you really want to experience movies the way they were intended to, you’d do well to purchase a dedicated 7.1 sound system. With any Freetalk TV Camera you will be able to talk face-to-face, while viewing them in HD, with friends and relatives through Skype.
